PRESENT TENSE

Simple Present Tense (Bentuk waktu sekarang kebiasaan/kenyataan)

·      Simple Present tense is a form of time that used to declare an act that occur at the current time.

1.       Verbal Sentences

(+)To be I, you, we, they : S + V1

    To be He, she, it           : S + V1 + s/es

 (-)To be I, you, we, they   : S + do not + V1

    To be He, she, it            : S + does not + V1

 (?)To be I, you, we, they : Do + S + V1 ?

    To be He, she, it           : Does + S + V1 ?

Example :

(+) We go to school everyday

(-) We do not go to school everyday

(?) Do we go to school everyday?

(+) He plays football every Sunday

(-) He does not play football every Sunday

(?) Does he play football every Sunday ?

2.       Nominal Sentences

(+) S + to be + Non verb

(-)  S + to be + not + Non verb

(?) To be + S + Non verb ?

Note :

To be

I = am

We, you, they = are

He, she, it = is

Example

(+) She is a beautiful girl

(-) She is not a beautiful girl

(?) Is she a beautiful girl?
